Run Run Run – #28before29 Running update

I added on my list of #28before29 to run 1000km.  Why in all the worlds would I put that? Well because I used to run before I blew out my knew and I would like to get back into it.  I though 1000km would be easy… but it is harder than I originally thought but I am going to do as much as I can.

November: KM Ran = 0
December: KM Ran = 2.11
January: KM Ran = 6.2
February: KM Ran = 1.93 (as of today 2/5/15)

I just finished moving and I have happily found a new gym which is very clean and small which is nice.  Last night was the first time I have been and I started out running for 30 minutes.  I managed to make 1.93km in the 30 minutes.  Which is fairly slow.  I did not have my Nike+ run app working well since my phone was in my hand not in my arm band.  (Could not find it #movingproblems).

I have broke down the goal with my current km run:
Goal: 1000km
Distance to date: 10.24km
Distance to go: 989.76km
# of months till my birthday: 10
Distance needed to meet goal monthly: 99km/month

I think that might be a tall order but I am willing to try.  Have you ever done a running challenge?? Help me stay on track!!

I was inspired by Sarah from The Laughing Medusa to share my #28before29 Birthday List.  She had commented that she wanted to complete a 30 day yoga challenge on hers and I did that as one of my many presents to me for my 28th! So we are now 321 days till my 29th which is well enough time to make 2015 full of fun and memories.

  13. Participate in a Photo Challenge
  14. Spend more time with the people who matter most to me.
  15. Make one crafty pin or food pin from Pinterest each month, and share about it.

  16. Create my own handwriting font
  17. Make a photo wall of my pictures
  18. Run 1000 km this year!

    • Distance to date: 20.98km *as of 3/1715
  19. Take a headshot or selfie monthly to compile on my birthday.
  20. Get a whole body massage
  21. Visit the Royal Ontario Museum
  22. Go to Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
  23. See a play
  24. Go to a concert
  25. Be sized properly for a bra
  26. Start listening to a podcast
  27. Send a postcard to my sister every month
  28. Hide 1 geocache for every 10 I find.

I have 11 months to work on these and my goal date to have them all done by is Nov 20th 2015 when I turn 29.
